On August 11, 2024, Nwe Organization and the Halabja Disabled Organization held a joint event in Halabja Province to mark International Youth Day, titled The Role of Youth in Mitigating the Impacts of Climate Change.
The event featured a panel discussion led by experts, focusing on the important role youth can play in addressing climate change. Following the panel, the audience had the opportunity to share their opinions and thoughts on the topic.
In the final part of the event, youth participants were divided into several groups to present their ideas and recommendations for climate action.
