From May 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023, with the support of BMZ, the Keep Kurdistan Green project was successfully implemented. This initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness and sustainability through education and practical interventions.
Project Activities:
Environmental Seminars: The project organized seminars for government and non-governmental sectors, as well as schools, to raise awareness about environmental issues and sustainable practices.
Provision of Waste Bins: A total of 13 waste bins were distributed to schools, universities, and public spaces to encourage proper waste disposal and environmental responsibility.
Distribution of Environmental Brochures: Informational brochures were distributed to educate the public on key environmental challenges and the importance of eco-friendly practices.
